: Beds were comfortable, had a frig and microwave and a nice bathroom
: Charge us for our dogs 10 dollars a a night besides our price plus lost some food cause the storm knocked out the electricity and they took out 50 dollars off my card without my knowledge, that was our last bit of money to get our meds and a maintane man threatened my fiance, said he was going to beat him to death with a bat just because he said that the hotel needs a generator so they lost my business ,they need to have the price of what they charge for pets on the hotel app, also the breakfast sucked,it wasn't a breakfast like the app said, juice, coffee, toast and cereal that is a continental brkfst, and wouldn't give us clean towels for the wet ones, they were rude and inconsiderate the phone didn't work in the room no cord, piss poor lighting, and the t.v didn't work the first night we got there, couldn't watch anythibg, and all the workers were rude

: There’s not anything that I liked. If there was another hotel available, I would’ve stayed in that instead of this one, or if I knew of a safer place to park and sleep in my car, that may have been a better option.
: The location was horrible, & the hotel was less than 50 feet away from a busy 4 lane Hwy (which was very busy & loud all night), the walls are paper thin, so you could hear the other rooms all night, the rooms were filthy, the staff failed to clean the rooms properly (or at all) & the beds weren’t made between nights & when we got there late on the 1st night we went to bed & there weren’t any top sheets & couldn’t get any to make our own bed, so we only had the filthy/scratchy comforter as coverings, the bottom sheet was NOT fitted sheets so they moved around on you at night & left you sleeping directly in the mattress. The other patrons of this hotel seemed to be “regulars”, meaning this was likely hotspot for prostitution, and we could smell people smoking weed every time we entered/exited our room (even in the morning) so there was a lot of negative aspects of why I didn’t want my family there in that environment.

: The ‘included breakfast’ was probably amazing (did that come off sarcastic?), but it was not offered (due to COVID, of course, per the little handwritten note stuck to the insect ridden checkin window). I have stayed at plenty of hotels since COVID. A pot of coffee, maybe some fruit and a packaged store bought muffin or individually packaged cereals would have sufficed (as all of the others have provided). There was ice in the ice machine and there was a soda machine, though I didn’t use it, so cannot attest to it having anything in it. There is NOTHING near this location with the exception of a beautiful park across the street. No gas station, no restaurant, no 7-11. If you want a cup of coffee, a snack or a beer, you better bring them with you - which thankfully, I did.
: Everything. Had to check in and do all transactions at the ‘window’ as the lobby was locked. It was COVERED with some sort of flying insects, as was my car and everything else in between. I get it - we’re in Florida - but a 5 gal bug spray is under 10 bucks at Dollar General - to at least make the MANDATORY window approachable! Maybe go ‘all in’ and hire a company to spray the lawn and common areas so the outside of the building is at least tolerable. The bugs were out of control. The microwave sparked after 5-7 seconds (and appeared to have already caught fire - see photos). The bath mat was FILTHY with boot prints or something (photo). Likely stained, but still disgusting. Thankfully, I had no intention of using the shower, but was going to put the mat on the floor in front of the sink. No thanks. The inside of the door was FILTHY with fingerprints and dirt - thankfully I had a container of Lysol wipes with me. Switch plate in the bath was broken and the switch was exposed. Not a big deal ... but c’mon ... they’re a quarter. Replace it. The one usable chair was covered in mold (or something. I didn’t investigate - but it was nasty) - and there was ONE usable outlet (aside from GFI at bathroom sink). It was a double outlet, but the only available light source (with exception to the bath/vanity light) was plugged in, leaving one outlet. I had a phone, an Ipad and a heating pad. (Upon moving the king sized mattress, I did locate another EXPOSED outlet ... must be a shortage of switch plate covers in Lakeland). Also, kinda on my part, but... I chose this location because they allowed pets. I was in Lakeland for my 3.5 lb chihuahua to undergo surgery at the SPCA. I didn’t specify that I had a dog when I booked (because I wasn’t asked). The manager/owner chased me out to the small grassy area the morning after checkin to direct me back to the office because I needed to ‘pay $20’ for my ill, 3 lb pet. Whatever. I went and paid the 20 bucks that afternoon.
